Privacy note.

Funded by Frankis a funding guide for South African SMEs. It’s a trading name of Meet Frank (PTY) Ltd(Reg. 2025/917033/07). Frank is the character who walks you through the flow on-site. Neither Funded by Frank nor Meet Frank (PTY) Ltd is a registered Financial Services Provider (FSP); we don’t give financial advice as defined by the FAIS Act. We connect you to lenders; any credit agreement is directly between you and the lender.

Three buckets:

• Answers you give Frank during the questionnaire (years trading, revenue, reason for funding, amount, etc.). These sit in our database so we can show you relevant options and follow up if you ask us to.
• Your chat with Frank: each message you send, Frank’s reply, and the details Frank took from it. We read these to find where Frank misunderstood someone or got stuck, and fix it. Email addresses, phone numbers and ID, card or account numbers are stripped out before a chat is saved. If you ask for an introduction, the chat is linked to that request.
• Contact detailsyou choose to share (name, email, phone) when you click “Apply now via Frank” or “Request follow-up”. Requests come to Frank’s team first — a person reads every one and passes it on by hand. Nothing is sent to a lender automatically.

We don’t collect more than we need. We don’t broadcast your details to every lender, only the one you explicitly ask for.

If you accept in the cookie banner, we load Google Analytics 4to see things like which pages are visited, on what devices, and roughly where from. We anonymise IPs and don’t link any of this to your contact details. If you decline, GA doesn’t load at all.

You can change your mind any time via the “Cookie preferences” link in the footer.

Separately, if you arrive from a link that carries campaign tags (a search result, a social post, an advert), we note those tags and the site you came from for the length of your visit, so that if you send us a request we know where it came from. This isn’t a cookie and isn’t shared with anyone; it’s attached to a request only if you choose to send one, and it’s gone when you close the tab.

• Frank’s team(that’s Lynette and whoever she explicitly brings in).
• Lenders, only the lender you explicitly ask us to introduce you to, only the fields needed for the intro, and only once someone on Frank’s team has reviewed and sent it.
• Infrastructure providers, Supabase (data storage, hosted in Europe), Render (web hosting), Resend (email delivery), Anthropic (the AI behind Frank’s chat and category takes; your messages and answers are sent to it, but Anthropic is contractually prevented from training on them).

We do not sell your data. Ever.

Chats with Frank are deleted automatically after 12 months.

Submissions stay in our database indefinitely unless you ask us to delete them. If you’d like your data removed, email support@meetfrank.ai and we’ll do it within 30 days.

Under the South African Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA) you have the right to access your data, correct it, ask us to delete it, and object to processing. Same email as above and we’ll sort it.

We’ll update the “Last updated” date at the top if anything material changes. Nothing retrospective, if something changes for the worse, existing data will keep being handled under the rules you agreed to.
